I was sharing some of my thoughts on the laws of bike safety and how I've never been comfortable biking at high car traffic times. She had no idea that the laws allowed/required bicycles to be in traffic on streets, and commented that whenever a cyclist is in front of her car she becomes annoyed and wonders why they would not move over/get out of the way.<br /> It seems to me that a lot of car drivers in and around Cleveland are ignorant to bicycle laws and protocol, and this is a scary thing for all of us on bicycles. I think an effective educational effort aimed at the car driving public would be important, many, many drivers pay no mind to signs encouraging them to share the road with bicycles.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
